1999, Win4RasMol

The main aim of this software is to hide the complexity of the command line interface in RASMOL by offering the user a set of windows menus that facilitate the manipulation of those molecules being viewed. This is no longer maintained. 


 

2004, GPIPE

This is a workflow enactor for the Pasteur Institute Software Environment (PISE). It allows the definition of workflows over EMBOSS. No longer maintained.

2007 ONTODAS

This is a Gene Ontology-based query builder for the Distributed Annotation System (DAS)


 

2007 MAP2OWL

Protégé plug-in. It allows the generation of Ontologies as concept maps


 

2008 The Living Document. Elsevier Grand Challenge semi-finalist.

The Living Document (LD) is not one that is constantly being written, as in the wiki approach, but one that acts as an interconnection bus networking documents, by means of structured organized social tagging and existing ontologies.
